    Cross body hammer curls?

    Hi there,

I've done a search and can't seem to find the info I'm after.

I've read that angled hammer curls are are great exercise for working the brachiali muscle. This I believe, is the outer bicep muscle and if developed can push the bicep muscle up giving a fuller wider look.

Basically you are in a standing position and do hammer curls accross your body and point the dumbell towards the opposite arm.

Does any one have any views on this exercise from experience?

    Many thanks

yes! and thats what I do. End my bicep and start the forearm workout with that exercise. I feel a good burn in the forearm with hammer curls and find it works best to do standing and bring the hand from the waist to the opposite chest and do the motion slow. Hold the dumbell so it's perpendicular to the floor.
