Quick answer, cut down a bit on your back routine a bit so you got some energy for your bi's.

What's your back routine consist of?

back is a bigger muscle than your bi's if you were to do your bi's first you will not be able to work ur back to the fullest because you bi's will be exhausted.imo, work your back first than hit your bi's second with high reps to get your pump.

I have never liked doing a full bi workout with my back. I usually keep my arms together on their own day and do supersets but on my back day I do like to finish my routine off with one exercise for my bis just for a little extra blast and pump. I will do something like a hammer curl for drop sets and just blast the hell outa' them. The same goes for tris and chest day.

If your schedule allows it try arms on their own day and a nice finishing movement for the bis on back day and tris on chest day.

    Has worked well for me.

somebody said it above, do back first and then go to bi's with high reps...i always prefer to do back after bi's but since you're just getting back in the gym, go with the big muscle first.

If training two muscles a day the safe bet is to incorporate a pushing movement and a pulling movement.Shoulders,bi's -back tri's etcetc

Swolecat would preach how his best arm development was achieved by just doing one exercise such as a barbell curl directly following a hardcore back workout. and skulls or such following a chest workout.

so then he preached a routine contrary to what everyone else here stated? or was that just something he did at certain times (since i know he competes, i'm sure he switches it up quite a bit)...i personally would have to agree, or hitting bis/tris on a day separate to chest and back...but now, getting in the gym four days a week is pushing it (with my car salesman schedule), so i also go chest/bi, back/bi, etc...
