    If my muscles....

don't hurt the next day after you worked them out the day before, is it because you did not work them out enough?

Reason i ask is because it has been a while since i have felt my muscles sore, and believe me i work them out good, i follow a plan in this guidebook and i have a friend trainer who set me up on a great routine

i vary alot my workouts and i love to try new things, but its like my muscles arent gettin sore like how they used to be when i would first workout back in the day.

i know what your saying, your not lifting enough weight, but if i try that, i cant lift it at all or im not working out my muscle, and then if i cutback on the weight, i can do like 50x reps and not feel a thing

so im curious, if my muscles arent sore the next day, is it because i did not do a good job? or is this ok, im diong fine, lift good and rep fine and even if i feel it or not, im still working out my muscles?

    thanks in advance everyone !!

PS - I read alot and here suggestions in regards to working out and alot of ppl and magazines recommend 2-3 sets of roughly 10-15 reps per muscle. I wokr out each muscle like 4-6sets. Imagine if i were to floow what the mags. tell me, i wouldnt feel a thing ever!! 2-3 sets!?!?!? wow !!

doms(delayed onset muscle soreness) is no indicator for growth.

its a common misconception that people think they have to wreck their muscles completely to grow not so. yes you have to work them hard, making sure the load and volume are enough to get a growth response, but you dont have to be in pain.

You know your smiling on the inside even when it feels like torture on the outside. It's the same for all of us in this sport.

I often change up my exercises whenever I do not feel sore the next day and it works.

e.g. Change the order you do your exercises...change type of exercise...change up the motion (negatives)...do an exercise that you are not comfortable with doing.

I stopped feeling soreness in my front delt and change up my front delt exercise. Instead of doing standing dumbell front raises I hopped on an incline bench, grabbed a barbell..and did front raises (what a killer exercise). Oh and I was sore the next day.

    Hope this helps,
    C

Everyone is different but I like being sore for a couple of days. Feels like I got something done. I know guys that never get sore and can pack on muscle pretty easily. Do you feel like you're getting bigger or are you stuck?

Post up your routine, stats, and experience so we can give you advice. You may just be approaching it wrong.

If you really want muscle sorness

Just shoot 3ml of trenebolone no ester in each muscle the day before and you shouldn't have a problem what so ever. LOL

You really don't need to be at the gym longer than an hour.

As far as the soreness thing goes, have you changed your diet? A decrease in dairy means less lactic acid in your muscles, and less soreness. Also I notice that I am less sore when supplementing with creatine.

As others above have said, just because you are not sore the next day does not mean you are not growing. However, if you are not getting as many reps as you used to, you might be overtraining. A week off might do you good.
