Splits
Hey all,
So I wanted to know what type of splits you all use. The more I seem to read, the more people tend to agree that hitting a muscle more than once a week seems to promote better growth. Maybe its me, but if I work out a muscle well, it takes at least seven days to recover with my intensity.
I wanted to know what everyone used, and how big you are. So post which workout has worked best for you, and your stats.
Me personally, I used the Max-OT template as it seems to work the best for me, and i`m 6`0 215lbs 16-17%bf now.

Im 5'10' 274 (this a.m.) bf approx 12-15% 36 yo (not natural)
day 1 legs
day 2 arms
day 3 rest day (sort of) abs and cardio
day 4 chest & shoulders
day 5 back and traps
day 6 rest
I also sprinkle calves and abs more often than their designated day
this split worked well but like all good things it too is need of an overhaul my body is ready for change.As far the muscle group lay out it is well put together. notice arms get hit twice a week once directly and once again on back or chest day but after a couple of days rest.

on a 4 day split now.
-shoulders/abs
-chest/tris
-back/bis
-legs/calves
usually work out 2 or 3 days, then 1 off. generally hitting everything 3 times in 2 weeks.
