Instantaneous soreness for strength?
Hey Guys
My first post here.
I noticed somewhat of a trend in my workouts. Whenever I can feel soreness in my muscle immidiately following a rep (probably due to max tension in the muscle), i gain strength in that muscle.
However I can rarely achieve this anymore. Sure i get DOMS from some workouts, but that does not seem to have nearly the positive effect as when i get immidiately sore.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Also, does anyone have any ideas how i might be able to do it consistently?
For awhile, supramaximal Neg reps would seem to tear my muscle on the spot, but not anymore.
