    i would say large muscle.some people train then with back,some on shoulder day.

    thanks guys, would you say 12-15 reps for traps for mass?

    I would stay on low reps for mass with large muscles...

    Traps make up 1/3 of the back so they can be considered a large body part that gives that rugged look.

    Use a holostic rep-range with plenty of volume. Most sets should fall in the 8-10 rep-range.
