    Question how much should i run???

    hey guys
    so heres the deal, im pretty well defined all around, and then you look at my stomach and its a little beer gut type thing, if i flex you can see a 6 pack, not a big one but its there..

    so, i know by running too much it can easily make me lose muscle, so im wondering if anyone knows how much running i could do so i just lose a bit of fat. or will just doing sit ups make me lose it?
    any answers would be greatly appreciated

    cardio @ 65%-70% MHR for 45 min-1 hr 6-7 days a week.

    preferably first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach


    and go check out the sample cutting diet in the diet section

    I agree, low intensity cardio and diet is really the key when it comes to this sort of thing. Situps will not make you lose the fat on your stomach.

    Don't run, walk! Really! You really can't spot reduce fat, it needs to be done with cardio. Sit ups won't make any fat go away, you will just be covering your hard earned muscle with fat. Cardio and diet is the only way. Good luck bro!

    walk? I think this has been a question that seems to keep coming up. I myself still dont really know the answer. I have the exact same thing ojuice, 4-pack when flexed and thats it. im on an over the counter thermo and doing 30 min cardio at 60-70% constant jog. hope im not burning up muscle as im still trying to squeez out a little more bulk for summer

    Situps won't really help in way of losing your "beer gut", that's a cardio and diet thing. Do steady state cardio early in the morning and then you could try HIIT on your off days. Treat it like a workout as far as your meals go before and after because it creates a similar response to weight lifting in your body.
