    chest issues only professionals please

okay been training back for a year have trained since i was 14 im 31 now i consider myself very informative about training on every aspect but now i am even stumped. like i said have been back training for a year after 2 years off due to personal issues. i have gained tons of muscle in my back and shoulders but seems as if it sucked it from my chest and arms my arms usually were between 19 n half to 20 inches now there maybe 18
my point is my chest my right side pectoral muscle will not grow my left chest is much stronger and has more mass i cannot use falt bench press due to shoulder issue but can use dumbells usually do 4 sets of incline 4 sets of decline smith machine. 4 sets dumbell flat bench press and 4 sets cable crossovers my chest will not budge one bit even tryed some d-bol and ive never used and it didnt help gained like 6 pounds but dropped it i am 6'1 230 pounds just puzzled any ideas?

i think your worrying about it to much. just train once a week for chest. try switching things up. incorperate drop sets, supersets

more than likely your back and shoulders are doing the work instead of your chest.. as for not growing/responding.. could be genetics, my suggestion is you are not getting enough protein and ammino acids..

did i say you aren't eating enough?? yep..

    Sounds like classic over-training syndrome.

Dont use a smith machine. Stick with the free weights. Figure out what chest exercises you can do. Then work heavy in the 6-8 rep range. Imo 6 reps is best. You would need to find what works best for you. If you are having shoulder issues. That seems to be the problem with your chest. Thats all I can come up with
