Anyone train with just heavy single reps or is that more for just strengh development opposed to muscle growth?

    i alternate reps every week.

last week, i did 4 sets and ended at 545lbs for 1 rep. This week, my last set will be 3-4 reps at whatever weight.

I prefer to stay at lighter weights and use strict form in the 10-12 range.

Depends on my training phase.. or what i'm prioritizing.

    GVT: 10 x 10

Strength phase: 5 x 5 (or sets of 4-6 reps)

    Max effort: 2x10 (light warm-up); 3 x 4 (pyramiding weight); 1x1 (max effort)
