i wouldnt say over training. i guess it would depend how long you have been working out and how heavy you are lifting but if it feels good to you then more power to you.

    been working out 6 months,

for traps i do 3 sets of 12 reps upright rows,
3 sets 12 reps front bb shrugs,
2 sets 12 reps rear bb shrugs.

for tries i do 3 sets 12 reps skullcrushers.
3 sets 12 reps of weighted dips.
2 sets 12 reps of kick backs.

bies i do 4 sets 12 reps of bb curls.
4 sets 12 reps of db curls,

    what you think???

If your only 6 months into training, then you should be fine with that. As your muscles develop over the next few years, you will definately need to scale that back. That would def be over-training for someone with more years experience.

It won't be over-training/over-use given you choose different exercises for the second workouts to be done each week. For instance, you would not want to do lying tricep ext twice a week because it can cause over use of the elbow joint.

I don't bro, seems like a lot of sets to failure on such a small bodypart for twice a week. For biceps and triceps i do three sets to failure every 3 days and for traps 2 sets to failure every 3 days. I am on 600mg week gear too. May want to cut down on # of sets to failure but go by how your body feels. more important than what i have to say

I would also like to point out that the same exercise can be used twice a week on occasion. However, this form of training must be used very sparingly if you want to keep healthy joints. That goes for the young guys on the board as well because it will eventually catch up to you.

with only 6 months of training I dont think you need twice a week anything. Also, I hope you just forgot to mention back training.

I do two hard working sets of traps about every third day (hard, to absolute failure). This does not count warm up sets. Do 3 sets same way for bis and tris e3d or so. But find what works for you. I like high intensity, lower reps (4-10) with one high rep finishing set of 12-15 to get the pump , lower volume, and higher training frequency. That has been my best recipe for growth

Depending on your age and your goals and how long you've been lifting...I tell kids (under 30) eat like a pig, sleep like a log and do 21s. Even at 32, with no juice, this put about 20 pounds on me inside of six months.
