    Deloading and Cutting.

    Hey,

I was wondering what you guys thought for 5x5/HST or any program that uses de-loading in its program. Is it reasonable since the volume dropping that you wont need as many calories for recovery since its primarly based on CNS recovery. I figure if its "stragetic deconditioning" why not just cut while doing it? I`m not a fan of bulking then cutting for long lengths of time, and I would rather cut for short periods when I can.

Does anyone see anything wrong with this? Or do you actually need a calorie excess to recover your CNS fully?

For example 5x5 uses 4 week of loading and 4 weeks of deloading and intensification phase. I would pretty much cut for 2 weeks toward the end while still trying to up the weight.
