Question Work out questions for you pro's

OK I am 40yrs old, 5' 10" and 235 lbs and work out 4 days a week. I am Alot stronger and see gains but obviously not the way I want. Now I have to work out a diet plan that I can stick with because I know Diet is everything for looks and proper growth. Here is my question, this is my workout routeen and i want to make suer i am not working against myself slowing my growth process. (ALSO, I am on 200 mg a week of Test C and have been for about 24 weeks straight TRT)

Monday Chest- Straight bar Bench,& Incline, Dumbell Decline, Flat bench Flys including Isolation flys, andFly cables working upper then switching to working lower pecks.
Then working Biceps with Sitting curls, Hammer Curls, and cross overs. Also curl bar outer grip cruls, Then rope curls on the cables.
Then Abs and starting cardio regiment of treadmill and Cross trainer then Abbs<

Tuesday -- Sholders. Military press, Sholder shrugs with dumbells, Shrugs with the straight bar, upright rows, the sitting machinw where you lift your arms up with weight, forward straight arm lifts and the sissor shrug lift machine.
Then I go work Triceps. ropes on cablesfront pressdown, then close grip push downs and reverse grip wide bar pull downs. then scull crushers, and seated dips on the machine along with sitting single dumbell behind the head tricep extentions. Cardio

Wednesday.-- Back and light legs. Lat pull down machine, Lat pull machine. Bent over pulls with the dumbells, Lat pull downs, and Front cable pulls close grips and finally bend over dead lifts.
As for legs, I dont do a great work out just light Some leg presses, ham string machine, &front lifts on seated machine. Cardio, then Abbs

Thursday Chest again, a little different but mostly wit all dumbells and only flat bar use is Decline bench.
Then Bi ceps as done on Monday.

    Friday
    >>All depends on if i can make it Sholders and Tris again. plus cardio and Abbs.

Am I doing the right type of workout?
I am following a younger trainer guy's work out, BUT Some are saying his routeen isn't proper.
meaning I should be doing Chest and Tris, and Back and Bi's and Legs only on one day Etc..
Any help in guidence is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    TASSY5

I am 53, this is me here http://forums.steroid.com/showpost.p...1&postcount=62 . IMO it should be

    Monday Chest and Tris
    Tuesday Back and Biceps
    Wednesday Off
    Thursday Shoulders
    Friday Legs
    Saturday and Sunday Off

On the off days you can do Cardio if you want. Abs are done on any day if you can be bothered. I never bother.

yea i would do back the day before shoulders, cause if u do u hard shoulder and trap work out, its going to hurt your back workout.
and i wouldnt do shoulders traps and tri's in the same day. u basically have all the body parts crammed into 3 days which should hurt gains i would assume. i would try to stretch it out into another day if u can.

as far as big changes I would reconsider putting deads on a back day. I split my legs into quad and ham. dead and stiff dead go on the ham. I think shoulders twice a week is excessive. dumbel shrugs and straight bar shrugs are excessive. would go w/ just bb. back does not have enough free wheight excersizes.

Because I had a biospy done last year and they found cells which are pre cancerous and they prdict will turn to cancer in the next five years. Option is to get the prostate removed, however that will end my sex life and frankly death or no sex is a difficult decision for me to make.

    I am sorry man.
My dad had it at 68 and had radiation, not the surgery and he said his sex life is gone also. That is a tough decision.

    God Bless

I see you mentioned "light legs" but I did not see the "Heavy" or "Intense Legs" anywhere in the program?
