    Best time to train

My work hours just got a bit intense again, so I have a lot of days when I work from 8 or 9 am to 9 or 10 pm.

I'm staying on track with diet, but not getting a lot of sleep.

When is the best time to train under these conditions, early in the am, or late in the evening?

I'm currently doing 30-45 min cardio 5-6 days/wk, and just started lifting. Not really heavy, and not really intense, just 2-3 exercises per major body part, 4 sets 8-12 reps.

mix it up trial and error see what works for you. early seems to be better because you are fresh, but sometimes you arent fully awake either. also after an intense workout , later in the day you may fatigue and crash while at work..

evenings, sometimes work was to much and you are spent before you even get to the gym..

myself, two day a wk i lift late because my schedule, one day i lift at the crack of dawn which sucks, when i get hom i crash hard and feel very tired. one day i get to train mid day. that is the day that feels best to me

The exercise organization recommend in early to late afternoon. As this is the peak of your metabolic rate and is also a time at least statistically speaking when one is less likely to suffer from injuries.
