    Please critique my CHEST workout!!!

Chest has always been my weakpoint, and I want to make sure I'm doing the right amount of sets, reps, etc. I always switch up my routine but this is my usual staple.

Failure is always about 8-10 reps

2 warmup sets of 15 reps of Flat bench press/dumbell press
3 working sets of Flat bench press/or dumbell press
3 working sets of incline dumbell press/or incline flyes
3 working sets of decline dumbell press/or dumbell flyes
3 working sets of incline machine press/or flat bench flyes/or machine flyes

does this look like good variety?

i personally like to start on an incline lift rather than a flat lift most of the time. im also not a big fan of decline movements. somewhere i think on the first page of my log is the workout i did this past spring and got amazing results with. http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=334304

the workout is called the "OVT" by CT and is listed in one of the stickies. i modified it a bit to fit my split but i will say it was by far the most effective workout ive ever done

Looks good, I also prefer to start on the incline and use DB over Barbells 99% of the time.

Not bad, I'd add some cable x-overs in to target lower chest.

set the handles low and pull inward crossing over and then at the end squeeze up. That hits the lower chest without doing declines.

I've also found stretching before/durring helps a lot.

I normally stretch in between sets for about 30 seconds.

watch the amount of weight you're lifting too. you may be able to lift more and not realize it.

when I started lifting again 12 weeks ago i was warming up with 30lb Db for incline chest and then 40s, 50s, did that for a long time then I worked up to where I'm at now, 50s, 70s, 90s Always push the limits, make sure you feel the burn for a couple days after.
