they get sore like any other muscle b/c of lactic acid build up
when you work out and they dont get sore anymore does that mean your not working hard enough and your not gaining? and what is lactic acid build up doing in the mucle? wouldnt it go away within a day? whats it do
My abs usually kill me for a few days after a good workout. It's usually not the day after but 2 days after that I really feel them.
On abs/legs day I usually hit them with crunches, decline leg raises and hanging leg raises. I love the hanging leg raises... I can really feel them work

yes mine hurt the day after but they i really feel the pain 2 days after like u said
when i haven't done my abs in a while, which is just about now, i feel the pain the day after a workout.
just b/c you aren't feeling pain doesn't mean you aren't gaining.
Mine usually get very very sore, or not sore at all.
You can't overtrain your abs and calves right??
Anyway I work my abs 4 times a week and it works fine...
