Skinny Guy Hoping to get bigger any advice welcome

    Hello

Im 21yrs old and weigh 120pounds with a height of 5feet& 7in, yes i know im not that big. For the past 5 years i have gone to the gym every now and then with no real written plan of knowing how to get bigger. I would go for a couple days to the gym and skip a week or two then go again. I know not a very good plan, but over one summer i did try very hard and managed to go every day but only gained 5 pounds over the whole summer and now have lost even those 5 pounds. I have tried proteins and eating more and everthing along the way to get bigger, but it has not worked. I dont want to become a huge body builder, i just want to gain that 20-30 pounds of more weight just so i look like a reg individual with some muscle. You know those reg guys that walk around with the small shirt and their biceps almost fill it yes those guys. I would greatly appriciate any workout tech. you could give me or a outlined written plan of what workouts to do what day or what to eat how much to eat and when to eat. I know very far past the teen age now and am 21yrs old but i still look like a 16 year old. I am soo sick of my self being this small that i have thought about doing steroid not in great amounts just in that little amount so i can gain the required weight needed. If you think steroids can help plz help me choose and point out the right ones for me. I'd be more than happy if i was to gain 15-20 pounds even but i would love to gain 30 that would be my life goal. I dont mind being 5feet and 7in and 150pounds when i am 120pounds at the moment. Plz any workout advice, diet plans, steroid use is welcome, but i plan do do this in a safely manner with appropriate doses of steroids im not here to become a huge body builder i just want the have a average body weight including a bit of muscle if thats possible. TY ALL Edited

Eat everything in sight, and lots and lots and lots and lots of protein. it would be better for you to eat a wedding cake than be hungry for a minute at your weight. Exercise each muscle once a week, blah blah blah. Don't be lazy. Nobody is going to write you out a plan. Search the forums. There is golden advice all over the place.

great videos tyvm!, I learned that I need about 240of protein a day cuz I weight 120lbs, that’s 2g of protein for every pound I weigh. I learned I am a ectomrphic type of person a skinny hard gainer who has a hard time of gaining weight and fast metabolism. I need to eat energy before work and eat sugar right after workout. I have only seen the first link and the first 4 videos so far I will continue to watch em and check out the links tommo. Hope this info helps. Any other info you could give me or people you have encountered like me with the same prob would be helpful too and how they also fixed it.

First you need to eat then you need to eat something else, then maybe grab a quick snack, and wash it down with a protein shake. Naw I was in your boat not too long ago. At one time I was 6'5 170 pounds. Now that is a bean pole right there. I researched and put together a solid diet and a good workout plan. I gained 30 pounds in the first two months I started working out. That is without any kind of steroids . The only supps I took were a multi-vit, creatine, and whey protein. A good diet does wonders to a skinny guy. Try googleing the MAX OT workout. They have workouts for beginners that might work well for you.

Im glad your looking into the workout. I know it has alot of information, but if you take the time to read it you will understand how it works and ultimately how to maximize your gains. You can either choose a workout from the ones they provide or put one together urself. It is important to follow all of the guidlines though if you put one together yourself. Which ever workout you choose, you should stick to that one for atleast 8 weeks get all the results. Just read the information they provide and you will be well informed and on your way. If you have any other questions just let me know or pm me.

Just to run it into the ground: EAT MORE! It is simple physics. If you were eating enough then you would be gaining weight (fat at least). Its not like if you eat too much, then you poop out the excess. That extra energy gets converted into bodyweight if it is not burned off. You can have the best workout routine on the planet and hit it 5 days a week, but if you don't increase your caloric intake then you just won't gain weight BOTTOM LINE. I went through the same thing. I graduated high school at 6'3" weighing 145lbs. I worked out non stop but never gained more than 5 pounds. Everyone told me the same thing: "you need to eat more". I would think to myself "I eat a ton! I go to cici's pizza and eat 13 slices!" Ha! It wasn't until I ate OFTEN (every 2-3 hours no exceptions) that I started to gain weight. I gained about 25 pounds within 2 years with no anabolics. If you have trouble eating alot then you could throw in a good weight gainer/meal replacement shake for one or two of your "meals" each day.
Once you get your food in check, then ask a trainer for a little help. I got a trainer for a week(all I could afford) and just had him run through every muscle group showing me what to do with proper form. You can improve your workout a ton this way if your a relative newb in the gym. Proper form is much easier to achieve when somebody can show you, as opposed to reading a bodybuilding mag and tryin to mimic the pictures. Hope that helps.
