    Exercise plan for Volunteer Firefighter

    I workout 4 days a week. I mainly just lift. I do cardio about 2 days a week. Should I start doing a lot more cardio? Any suggestions?

    buddy of mine is a fireman, the main thing you need is endurance, not power lifting..

    yes explosive strength is needed, but if you can't do it for 15 minutes, it won't help you..

    do high rep lower weight to increase your stamina and strength..

    3 sets 20 reps

    I thought about some sort of circuit training. Havent really thought about the exercises yet. Classes start monday so I need to get something together. I want to get on at the airport but I have to have 400 hours.

    yea forget volunteering. With that said legs legs and more legs. they are the first thing to go. Also cardio is important, you may find you get more winded wearing scba.
