    build muscle- fast ?

    Hi guys!
It has been a month since I started lifting weights.
Im working out upper body only( which is probably stupid).

So yesterday I read online that if you want to gain muscle or make it bigger you need to lift lighter weights with max reps (burn outs i assume).
If you want to get stronger you need to lift more weight with less reps.

I am trying to focus on my biceps especially, so should I do more weight less reps or weight that I'm comfortable with and a lot of reps ?

My goal is to get my biceps bigger ..
    Thanks guys.

You're gonna get flamed.Hit those legs and then everyone will know you are serious..I mean no disrespect. It really is that important for total body growth. Trust me on this one. Build your foundation!

if you do squats and deads it will help stimulate upper body growth as well... best to stick in the 8-10 rep range to build mass/size. 4-6 reps for strength and 16+ is mainly muscular endurance

    Thanks guys.

I need to make time to do legs, you're right.

So to build mass I need to do more weight I assume.

always lift heavy. it stimulates natural test production. stick in the 8-10 rep range. Try to incorporate deadlifts and squats in your routines. imo, they stimulate your body to grow. including your biceps!
