I love doing cardio when my legs are stiff and sore, your legs should feel better afterwards...
whew man maybe i'm just a puss but I just got back into it 2 weeks ago and hit squats then the day after went on a 4 mile hike trying to add HIIT into it and my shit has been sore as hell for 3 going on 4 days now. what the hell?
I've got a punching bag in the building, do you think hitting that would be good cardio?
my legs stay sore for a few days ,thats how you know you worked them well
i never let soreness hold me back. i do cardio next day to loosen them up and get the blood flowing through the muscle.
you can do steady state low intensity cardio but if your legs are still sore I wouldn't recommend HIIT cardio.
