    need help with workout days

    I was wondering if this 5 day split works

    monday-chest
    tuesday-back
    wednesday-legs
    thursday-shoulders
    friday-arms

    id use another day for legs and combine bench and back.

    If you are doing deadlifts I would space your back and leg days further apart. Other than that, looks good.

    Would I do it? No...

    Also, do you not want to work out traps and abs?

    oh yeah, i forgot to put traps with shoulders..my bad. But I do deadlifts which hits my traps, would i need to target them more? I do abs usually once a week after arms or shoulders no set day

    Yeah. I would still do shrugs and upright rows

    Are you asking if I didn't do shrugs and upright rows for traps, what then, would I do for traps?

    I see, i'll try to target my traps more directly now. As far as my 5 day split, what can i change around to make it better?

    I'm more of a 3 day, 4 day split guy.

    If I did a 5 day split, it would look something like:

    Mon: Legs/Abs
    Tues: Chest
    Wed: Back/traps
    thus: rest
    friday: shoulders/abs
    Sat: arms
    sun: rest

    yep. throw abs in on leg day, and it looks identical to one of my splits.
    That is your basic 4 day split.

    would it be a problem if I did deadlifts on back days and I still did traps on shoulder day?

    Sorry about all the questions but...When I do chest/tris and back/bis should i superset between each excercise, for example one set of bench one set of tris? Or would it make no difference If i just finished chest and did 3-4 exercises of tris in a row?

    No, just go straight through chest, then move on.
    I do like to do drop sets though.
    You just gotta experiment and see what works for you
    You could superset flat bench with incline flies. And stuff like that...
