    Breaks and moving....

OK, EVERYONE that has seen my message in new male member, knew I was going to be here, hahahaha. anyways.

MY QUESTION.. I have been pumping iron in the gym for about 3 years, I gain around 30lbs over that time frame. IS THIS A GOOD GAIN?

NEXT... I have been using my curling bar at home here, about once a week and doing sit ups for about a month now, I have seen some lose of mass, but I was hoping to here some good news, and that is.. HOW BAD IS A MONTH WITHOUT PUMPING IRON?

Reason for not hitting the gym is cause I am busy with getting use to a new shift and moving in to my new home. and all that is keeping me back from the gym.

Now I am getting a treadmill, and I am also getting a bench press, and I have a curling bar and little dumbell bars, I am going to rig up a chin up bar also, Do you think this will do the trick till I get more cash flow going. I am going to try and cut up and lose this ugly fat? What do you say?

Well let me know, all your info. My diet is slowly getting into the game, so once that gets good I will start taking note on my loses.

OK. There you go, the new guy tryed to send his message.

That depends on a few factors, was the weight lean muscle mass or fat? Later on in your post you said you want to lose "this ugly fat" so I assume that your gains were not lean. What are your stats? What weight were you when you started?

With a good diet and training routine you will be able to make gains again quicker because your muscles will remember the training.

Can you not get a gym membership? Real gyms are better than home gyms with limited equipment.

Diet is the name of the game, without a good diet you won't get very far.

Thanks man , The hold gym part is possiable, but with the low cash , it is hard for me to get to the gym, and with work, it makes things harder, So I was thinking about, running(tread or street) either way my buddy is giving me a free tread. and I plan on going back to the gym within time, but I NEED to save and get things in line, I am 24yr old and still very young, I think one year at home getting ripped, should be ok.

    Like I have a bench(so I can do, bench press/db press/shoulder press/ticep close grip.. and so on.

Now i also have a curling bar with about 400lbs of weights for that and the straight bar.

And I plan on getting a chin up bar and build something for squats?

So I would love to get to the gym, but money is coming frist, and I would love to retire one day, so RSP/ Pension, need to get a huge jump on them, and get a year of my house paid and I think I will be set to start up again, next winter, to bulk it up.

    As for stats.

    5'10
    170lb(before I started lifting 145 or so)
    male

bodyfat % was 9% about 2 years ago, I must be at 12 now.

I need to lose it till I hit 5 or 6 and then I can start bulking.

So what do you think, and sorry about the whole not able to hitting the gym.

IMO, you don't need to get near 5 or 6% bf before bulking. I would try and get down to 10% then lean bulk. With the available equipment you have, this should be fairly easy. It's all about diet. If you post a sample diet in the diet forum and let us know your goals, we can critique it for you and let you know how to go about it.
