    never sore

i have just read the post below about the guy who is alway sore my problem is th opposit my back never get sore not even after a mega hard work out
no matter how i split my training

    i used to do
    monday chest and tri
    tuseday back
    wed off
    thurs shoulders
    friday bis and tris
    sat legs

    now i do
    monday chest tris
    tuseday off
    wed back
    thurs off
    friday soulders bis
    sat legs

i did this on he advice off a friend of mine whos a pesonal trainer
he told me if you get in to much of a routine that your body can get used to it dont know how true this is?
also i understand i wont be sore on every body part every time i train them but it just seem a little starnge that thats the only part that is never sore.

any advice would be good. i have only been liffting for 4 months

    my back routine is

pull ups 4 sets of as many as i can do ( i have to use a machine with a weight that assists me )

    dead lifts 4 sets

then do lat pull downs 3 sets

    bent over rows 3sets

Whenever I switch the order I do my exercises, change an exercise here or there, go up in weight, or train with more intensity, I am 9/10 times sore the following day.

Therefore, one should realise that one or a combination of all these things is necessary to keep from stagnating and further progress. If you train with enough intensity, and beat last week's workout (logbook), there's no REASON you shouldn't be sore the next day, EVEN when you're juicing (when recovery is much faster).

i dont know how ur lifting, but u might try focusing on the muscle ur working and contracting it in addition to changing ur routine, adding new exercises. i know alot of guys that dont leave their ego at the door and use their whole body to put up weight instead of the muscle they're trying to stimulate

make sure you are using good form and concentrate on your mind/muscle connection.

if you are lifting to cut , then i assume you are lifting low weight, high reps low rest intervals

-if that is the case, the low rest intervals is so key , you have to push urself in around a minute rest in between each set, and pyramid up in weight or down whatever ur preference is ( i pyramid up always )

basically you know when you are working your body to the maximum in the weight reps and sets, and when you're just doing 4 light sets or 4 working sets ( you wanna do 4 working sets usually, light sets is kinda like if you took a leap of absence and dont wanna be sore but in ur case u wanna be sore)

for I.E i do pull ups with weight wrapped around
    1st set - 35lb for 10
    2nd set - 40lb for 8
    3rd set -45lb for 6
    4th set 45lb again for 6 ( if i can do more i do it )

now if 2nd set i can only do 6, i keep my 3rd set at 40lb and do another 6
if i hit all my numbers in full 10 8 6 6, next back day ( which is once a week for me) i move up in weight so always thrive to improvement
so first set im starting at 40lb,

always working my muscles with higher and higher weight, hope that made sense

being sore is not a good way to gauge the effectiveness of a workout u could have stimulated the muscle and still not been sore
