Dead on Little G
Yeah,
Little girl hit the nail on the head on this one. You can workout 3 to 4 days a week if you choose but you need to change up the body parts that you train. The main reason many bodybuilders work a split is because of time factors in the gym. To train one bodypart really hard, can take time away from other areas of training thus the routine has to be split up.

why do you feel that these are the only muscles on your body that need help ?

The only way you can hit those bodyparts M/W/F is if you perform a circuit routine and that should be FULL body. This is not the type of workout that will build muscle per say but can get you in and keep you in shape. The intensity is usually high but the weight is not. What is it you want to accomplish?

even so, you are neglecting your shoulders back and legs. its understandable to want to have big arms and a big chest, but if youre out of proportion you might as well just have little arms. (i think that made sense)

Like I said "FULL BODY" intense circuit if training m/w/f. There is no other productive way to train that schedule.

Good Call DB ....
If I was training a girl that was overweight ... I would put her mostly aerobic activity... all workouts with weights would be a 3 day circuit type training so that her upper body as well was used while keeping her heart rate up .....

I duno, I have to disagree. I train my biceps/shoulders/back twice a week and have noticed a big difference then when I was training once a week. I guess each body is different, who knows.
