Question
I feel stupid asking this but I'm unsure. Say for example someone posted this routine below and had these numbers next to it representing work sets. So for the first one its chest-12, shoulders-8, calves-6, does that me just do a total of 12,8, and 6 sets. For example on chest- flat- 3 sets, decline-3 sets, incline- 3 sets, and cable crossovers- 3 sets- totals to 12. I that what it means? If not can you explain
Chest, Shoulders, calves sets are : 12, 8, 6 respectivley
Back, hams, triceps 12, 8, 8
quads, traps, biceps 12, 4, 8

I believe that they are refering to the number of reps over 3 sets.
Exp. Chest 1st set to 12 reps, 2nd set to 8 and 3rd to 6, changing to weight as the reps go down..
Hope that helps
