    NFL - 225 test?

    i know some of you may think testing your 225 max rep regularly is not important..but im interested to see where the majority of people stand..i usually do two warm up sets on chest day then always rep out 225 to as a sort of strength benchmark throughout my cycle..i just did 225 19 times yesterday but could probably have done 20, does anyone else try this?

    No. But when i used to bench regularly i would warm up with a plate on each side x 15-20. Then 225 x 12-15, then move up to 275, 315 x 5-8.
    I could of gotten it 25 times had i tried.

    35 times, it was nice. I do it every once and a while well at least before I frucked up my left shoulder.

    Ever watched them do that 225 for reps test? Its not exactly what i would call a "strict" lift. Wide grip with guys with a barrel chest and bouncing the weight. Its never been that impresive to me.
