    Exercises to build up hamstrings?

Just wondering what exercises you guys like to do for Hamstrings.. I do a lot of Squats, Leg Press, Hack Squats, etc but I feel like they hit my Quads harder and my hamstrings definitely need to catch up. Thanks in advance!

I like straight leg deads. I get my hams pretty good from regular deads too.

If you go deep with squat's you can really feel it in your ham's also deep leg presses, and heavy dead's will get them too.

You can also try some ham squats on a smith machine too.

I like leg curls, lunges, and deads. I throw in the above every once in a while for some changeup

You need to incorporate a curl and a stiff leg movement to hit the entire hamstring as one muscle attaches below the knee (activated while doing leg curls) and the other attaches above the knee (activated while doing stiff leg movements)

Exercises I use: Wide-stance squats, leg presses w/ feet high on the platform.. All forms of the deadlifts (I use a different form from workout to workout generally), Hyper-extensions, Walking Lunges, Laying and standing leg curls, single-leg good-mornings.

Great Nark, now I am gonna see a bunch of 150lbs kids doing these in the gym looking like they are preparing for an ice skating competition.

LOL... I've always got my ski-mak prepped for my second leg day on Sunday.

I like single-leg deads... mostly for correcting imbalances though.

    I do single-leg hyper-extensions when I want to avoid doing weight hyper-extensions.

I like bulgarian split-squats as well... maybe more so than walking lunges at this point... though i've included both in my 2nd weekly leg day for the last month.

Leg curls are great for hammys. For going heavy on them i like to go with straight leg deadlifts or good mornings.
