Cardio Before Lifting? Cardio After Lifting? Or Both?
So I know alot of people have a different opinion on this topic so I was wondering what people thought. I wanted to optimize fat loss. I know that is done by low intensity cardio and keeping your heart rate down, but which type of cardio is the best you think?
i have been mixing it up lately doing some before and after and then just after or all before. Basically I do a total of 40mins of cardio everyday.
I usualy prefer to do it all after lifting since I get the most out of my lifting.
So what do you guys prefer or what have you heard in relation????

and the reason is...
if you cardio before resistance training the glycogen that is stored in the liver and the muscle will not be there..
after, we hope that all the glycogen has been used from the liver and muscle, and cardio at 50% of max.. use a heart monitor to ensure..
if you go over 50% you will start to burn muscle... so stay slow, and stay lean, it will use stored fat as energy...20-30 minutes..The answer to your every question

Thanks for the incredibly helpful answers......lol.........
So a 10 minute warm up is ok though im thinking.
What about heart rate is 130-145 too high of a heart rate or we more focused at 110 for a heart rate??

im not sure what a 30 swim is but i assume you meant 30 minutes
uses more muslce aka using muscle as your primary energy source.. aka anaerobic cardiovascular training...aka throwin you in a furhter catabolic state while already in a glycogen depelted state aka...musce cannabalization...

What everyones thoughts on when to consume there shake when doing cardio PWO?
Should you take it after cardio (125-135HR 30-45mins), or before cardio immediately after resistance training?
Would the answer differ from, if the shake contained carbs, no carbs...?

i lift at night so most days its cardio before. at least 6-8 hrs before my weight training.usualy in the a.m. it dose not effect my workouts cus my body has plenty of time to recover before i lift. i think even though the general concensus is after your workout.if before is the only time you have to do cardio then its better than no cardio at all in imho.
