As long as your knees follow the same path as your toes are pointed it doesnt really matter. I prefer mine pointed slightly outward.

Same here. Toes slightly pointed outward. Nice comfortable squat.

I like to have my toes pointed forward, and my legs at shoulder width, because i find this works my outer quads a lot better.

I do a set on my cool down of 225lbs with my toes pointing kinda inward and my legs somewhat close and I get a good burn on my outer quads like you said.

Normal stance is the same as the rest..... never knew to have knees in same direction of toes... always went by feel, but that is good to know.. I better check on my self.

I have always heard to do this: jump off a small box and see how your feet land (in what position). That is a natural, comfortable position for your feet in a squat. While it may not work for everyone, it has worked for me. I point my toes slightly outward.
