im sorry but to bring about your lower abdominals will come through diet and cardio... those muscles are there but under the fat..

not to be a downer but if youve lost 200lbs(which is awsome!congrats!)you may have some loose skin that wont go away without some surgery.but it can be done. loose skin cant be dieted away i dont believe.good luck

diet and cardio are the key but hanging leg raises will help ascent the lower ab region!

so would the hanging leg raises or something not as difficult but similar work? in addition to cardio, or just stick with cardio?

diet ofcourse... working on improving from an anorexic one in the diet forum to a healthy one.

you want all 3! i train abs 1x weekly around 5-6 sets with weighted reverse crunches and ab coaster machine... i also rotate my workouts every 8-12 weeks (plateuing).

True! The abs contract as a whole like the biceps.

The standard weighted crunch done 1 to 2 times per week is best. Some like to add reverse crunches on a decline bench to try and target their lower abs a little more so but again the lower abs are worked with standard crunches and reverse crunches can hurt your back. Diet and cardio do the rest.

    weight crunches

arm pull forward thing with weight

    I disagree.

You need to change your body composition. You have lost 200 lbs (grats!!) of fat and muscle. Your body's composition is still high in body fat and the supportive muscle just needs to catch up.

When you lose that much, you need to bulk a bit back up. This does not have to be excessive, but if you do it clean enough, you won't be putting on much fat at all, but you will be building muscle to increase metabolism and give more shape to your body.

After bulking a bit, do some more shredding, and do this wisely -- don't kill yourself (which is what I did when I lost 125 lbs). Keep your HR at the fat burning level, and do some reading about morning cardio and proper nutrition before and after cardio.

Keep the teeter totter bulk-cut up until your body composition is the way you want it. Don't do surgery until you've seen the results of this stuff. It can be difficult and discouraging, since a lot of people like to say loose skin won't go away, but we are not made of rubber -- every tissue you don't shed is alive, and you will get results from this!
