    What about this for deloading?

For my legs, high reps and lighter weight seem to be the trick for making them grow, and they grow well, but for deloading, can I go heavy for low reps, or is it that important to go light during this phase. In no way do I feel as spent or burnt out doing the heavier weights for lower reps, because it just isn't as intense for me, or as taxing on my body. What do you think guys (hoping Ronnie sees this)?

Yes! You can do lower reps during a deload with Slingshot Training. Just make sure and keep your total volume lower. You can also do higher rep-ssets during a deload. Keep training at a high level of intensity.

So, even though I am deloading, I should still train at high intensity?

I gathered that "Loading" was lower reps & high volume while "Deload" was higher reps & lower volume, but intensity was equal for both as far as achieving failure at the end of your rep count.

I see,,you want to do just the opposite right? I might have to give that a try cause I feel I get a better workout on my legs as well with higher reps & lower volume. At least till they gain some size & strenght.

My thing is that for a month I do high reps with low volume, because this is what makes my legs grow, and for 2 weeks, I go heavy for lower reps, but more volume, and this helps a lot with strength gains, so is this okay for a deloading phase, or do I need to lower the volume?

do what works for you... personally i think you should deload/reload how you feel fit. ive plateud with HIT and switched to lower reps lower volume and grew alot more.. thats why i feel slingshot will be perfect but you will have to formulate it for yourself.. i would have more input but im starting my 1st blast after keto and will tell you what i feel of it.

Yes! The only time you reduce intensity is during the occasional 1-2 week prime. Only the sets and/or reps change between the reload and deload. You do not have to change reps when changing over but it's a good idea to do so!

Note: I prefer lower reps during the deload to increase my strength!

You can train in many ways and grow so the answer is yes. But, Slingshot Training is about making maximal progress which entails reloading and deloading to break training plateaus that cannot be broken by training 7-8 reps with 2-3 sets.
