    super-sets

is this the same as circuit training? Friends at my gym cannot believe that w/o cardio Im in and out in no time. Sometimes 20 min.

ex. - dumbell presses - 8 reps supersetted with barbell curls - 8 reps supersetted with hanging leg raises - 25 reps

Ill do this with 2 more different exersizes with no rest between sets only 2 min between the other exersizes; if this makes sence...

Ive been doing this for the past month or so and like it a lot. Just looking for info.

I like the mass that I current have so a bulking regimen is not what Im looking for...

It really comes down to what works for you. I'm assuming you either wanna cut or just maintain?

kinda both, considering. I want to maintain as much size as I can while I let diet and cardio cut me up.

You can superset one or more muscle groups.

I like to hit biceps with BB curls, then alternate DB curls.

Or you could hit biceps/tricpes with BB curls, then straight into tricpes pushdowns.

I'm about to start these in the next 2 weeks, kinda excited to see how it goes.

    I did 4 months chest/tri back/bis

    2 months chest/bi back/tri (Loved the results)

About to switch to chest/back bi/tri

How often do you suggest switching workouts eattrainrest?

    Ps: sorry for the highjack

Agreed, alot of my friends think my workouts are tooo routine because im not in there 3 hours a day. But I simplify and call it Arms/Chest Day. Do some DB Curls right into Tricep rope pulldowns, back to say, BB curl and then back to Tri pushdowns. Give like a 2 min rest and do that for 4 sets.

    Works pretty well

Its all about training antagonist (chest,back/bi's, tri's/quads, hams) or agonist (chest, sh, tr'is/back, bi's) muscle groups together to yield the best results from the superset. Try either one of these (antagonist or agonist), the pumps are great and a really good format from my past experience.

no prob bro. I love the whole push-pull ( chest/bis, back/tris ) It seems like Im pumped up all the time. I would do this for the first 3 weeks of a month then for the last week switch to chest/tris, back bis and holy crap is it tough!
