    painful pump when i run?

Im about 6 weeks into my first cycle(500mg tes e wk). I decided to bump my cardio up to 5-6days a week to keep the water weight down and also help my body adjust to drastic increase in body weight.(wont lose my breath going up a flight of stares) I can do the elliptical 30 mins keeping my heart rate at 140 with no problems. but every time i try to run i get this crazy painful pump in my shins and sometimes lower back after about half a mile. I made my self go a mile in 10 minutes and i could hardly walk after... i could do 2 miles easy last time i ran (about a year ago). I talked to one of my cross country running friends and she said its not shin splints. my weight is up 25-30 pounds from the last time i ran, only thing i can figure might cause this. or maybe some deficiency, but i am eating 45-5000 cals and drinking 1.5-2 gals of water a day. fyi

    any thoughts?

very easily could be shin splints my friend.... or you could need technical running footwear to prevent your feet from overpronating or supination. i also had lower back problems when i ran as i underpronated and the weight was not distributed evenly across my metatarsus.... thats all that springs to mind man.

so the gear could be the cause of this? thats what i think. i ran alot in high school and i like to think that i know my body well enough to know when somethings effecting me. I mean easy solution to just to stick to the elliptical but i was just curious
