    How much Cardio is too much?

    How much cardio is too much Im 200 5' 10" about 12% body fat. I want to firm up a bit but not lose much weight or strength I have been doing 1hr spin classes which I enjoy sence the time goes by really fast but I have been told doing that much will burn muscle and I should only do 15 to 30 min tops is that true. Any advice helps

    It's really dependant upon the intensity of which you are doing it and how many calories you are taking in. If you are losing lean body mass you need to make adjustments, less intense cardio, less time cardio or ingest more calories.

    I takes tons of cals and alteast 250 grams of protein per day. So if I want to do more intense cardio just make sure im taking in alot of cals correct?

    dependant upon your goals, type of cardio and HR zone? your not being specific so you cant get specific answers

    What is your definition of "tons of calories"?

    I didn't think it was worth starting a thread so i'll throw my question to you guys here seeing it is relevant.

    When bulking how much cardio is required? Twice a week, 30mins at low-moderate intensity or am i way off.

    however much you feel necessary if your gaining to much fat

    to tell you the truth, no one can ever tell you exactly how much is enough!
    ever!!!
    it changes almost by the minute you eat
    what do you eat
    that day, can be very different from the previous day...

    but keep in mind that more you do the leaner you get, less fat you store? roughly about the closest you can get to your answer


    to bulk up you need to consume a lot of food. not all of it pure protein, in which case you need to spend the rest.

    if you have enough time do it every day for 30min, less intense but make a habit of it it will serve you good later
