    The Debate on rest days.

Just wondering overall everyones feelings on rest days in regards to how many? growth? and overcoming lagging body parts? I hear a lot of different things and im sure everyones body is different, However i hear anyhitng from lifting 6 days a week with 1 rest day to as much as 3 or 4 rest days a week. Are there different numbers for different goals such as mass gain, cutting, overcoming lagging bodyparts?(In my case adding more mass and shape to my chest) and what would they be? any other advice is much appreciated.
Also as im sure they do, does supplementation have anyhitng to do with this as well?

if you want a short answer it depends on how intense your workouts are.. generally speaking id rather be in the gytm 4x weekly working my ass off and allowing for more growth than bullshittin my workouts 6x a week. you increase teh risk of overtraining if performing 2 many sets or 2 high intensity regarding workouts.

well depends on duration and intensity as well..and your diet. for example, if you perform high intensity cardio or even HIIT, in caloric deficient state and carb depleted.... you may be in trouble using muscle as primary energy in the absence of carbs. and to measure this is important on your HR. actually IMO 5-10 minutes of LI every PWO would be beneficial in regards to achieving better strength gaints, etc. it will help shuttle nutrients throghout the body if "force feeding" the muscles with some carbs and aminos, or protein and carbs. ive explained alot of my opinion here if youd like to see it

I always Always go 3 days on 1 day off! The trick is.. If I do feel wiped or not fresh after day # 2, I change up and do 2 days on/ 1 day off! Doing it this way lets me hit every bidy part 1.5 X a week or 6 X a month! anything more than that is too much! IMO
