    Endurance abs?

What is a good regiment for building endurance in your abs ? I have been doing 8 minute abs with dumbbells on my chest but even with 40 lbs on me by the end i am barely feeling it.

I am really into snowboarding, but last season I felt that my conditioning was up to par except for my core strength and endurance. I enjoy riding usually from around 8 in the morning untill 5 to 7 pm so its quite the workout. It seemed to have held me back more than I would have liked. I have been adding core strength through Romanian deadlifts and squats, but I have never had too much of a problem with my back.

If you can't feel abs with weights try another way. I used to train abs with weights, but i noticed that i work better making the movement as slowly as possible. Rather than increasing reps and wights, increase time of a rep.
