    TRAPS...Back or shoulder days???

Well i have always done my traps on shoulders days. Since starting reading on this site i have heard people saying do it on back days. I have heard lots of mix thoughts on this.

Any help on this matter would be appriciated and if you could explain why you would do it on this day rather then the other? something like pros and cons???

I work mine twice a week. On monday with my back i go heavy, and on friday with delts and arms i go lighter with reps in the 15-20 range. Been working pretty good i think.

some people train traps on back day becuase they do exercise like deadlifts, deadlifts stimulate the traps, also things like pull ups etc also stimulate the traps as a secondary muscle group

when u train ur middle delt of ur shoulders u usually also stimulate ur trapezious, e.g upright rows, lateral raises etc all require a secondary stimulation of the trapezious muscle group

u can train traps either day, its up to u, however

if u say train monday back
    tuesday shoulders

then u would train ur traps on tuesday, since if u trained them on ur back day, they would be fatigued and overtrained on the following shoulder day since they would again be stimulated

train traps on which ever day u feel their stronger on, i train them on shoulder day just becuase i do deadlifts on my back day, and always find after heavy deadlifting i cant train my traps well

and on shoulder day i find they dont get fatued much so i train them on that day

other people find it the other way around, its completely after u

For me depends on the routine I'm on.

    Doing stuff twice a week. I do chest/front/middle delt/triceps, legs, back/biceps/rear delts/traps and a day off repeat

If doing once a week, I'll do traps with shoulders as I implement more exercises and sets with once a week training
