    improving muscle quality while preventing further gains

    I am happy with the amount of muscle I currently have. I feel I am too short to increase muscle mass as it makes me look stocky. I prefer a lean cut look.

    What is the best way to train/eat to continue improving my muscle quality while, at the same time, making sure i don't grow. i find that when i push to heavy or train too intensely, my muscles grow very fast. I want to carry on improving my muscles to their highest possible quality though.

    If you really have this "problem" train hard as you every did and eat calories at you maintenance.
    If you wanna achieve muscle quality faster, bulk clean and then cut till your weight of this moment.

    Keep working out, but only eat enough to maintain your current size.

    He probably just wants a different look than most of us, just like Frank Zane didn't worry about being as big as everyone else, but wanted muscle quality that was unmatched.

    if thats the case focus more on maintenance dieting and more cardio

    Here are some pics.

    I am only 5'7 feet in height, so any bigger and I look to stocky.

    I do want to greatly improve the quality of my muscle's though. So I will take your advice and cut meal portions. Thanks

    Either lean bulk and keep cardio involved to stay extra lean or just eat at maintenance calories and lift in the 10-12 rep range to improve muscle quality..

    you could bring up yours arms a lil bit too match everything else.
