    Workout Routine

I'm a recently new wieghtlifter and not really sure about what I should do each day. But I've came up with a routine.

    Day 1 Chest and shoulders/Cardio
    Day 2 Arms/Cardio
    Day 3 Back and Legs/Cardio
    Day 4 Rest/Cardio
    Day 5 Repeat Day 1
    Day 6 Repeat Day 2
    Day 7 Repeat Day 3

I'm Also workin in abs n obliques each day but only with weights once a week and the rest of the week just incline crunch, sit-up, twist, bicylce etc.

What does every1 think about my routine?
Tell me whatever u want I'm willing to listen to whatever.
I am trying to gain lean muscle n lose fat.
Also does n e 1 know some decent freeweight workouts for each individual muscle groups? If so let me know plz!?
Thanks Everyone I know you all will help me out.

sure, back and legts are major muscle groups and i always have one day off after i train them. if you train them right, you can not possibly do both in the same day you will be way to fatigued and overtraining your CNS (central nervous system). if you have more questions i will bump my workout thread.

I've always been a fan of a five day split for beginners. It allows you to get used to the lifestyle without burning yourself out.

    Monday: chest
    Tuesday: back
    Wed: legs
    Thurs: shoulders
    Friday: arms

You could throw cardio and abs in pretty much any day u want but if u do legs like u should then you won't be doing either on leg day.
