    Question Anyone else feel the same way??

    Im not really sure which thread I should put this in….

    But I am wondering...All my buddies, after the gym they feel great. Ready to take on the world. After I am done...If its lifting at the gym or at the track doing cardio- I come home, have my shake….eat my meal and crash for about an hour?????

    I eat all my meals everyday, take my vitamins....
    Is my body missing something???

    I do the same thing. That shake, and then the meal after it might slow you down. Are they drinking a shake AND eating a PPWO meal?

    They just have a skake....

    With all the carbs I eat before, and the simple carbs I eat after I would think I would have a bit more energy.

    Lol. I don't think that makes a difference. You wouldn't see a football player getting amp'd up after a game just because he chugged some gatorade, ya know?

    I feel like I am beat up after a workout, if I can I take a nap after a workout or if its late enough I go to bed.

    Try slower carbs also postwo.
    If you train hard, you'll crash. It's normal.

    I feel the same way, a lot of friends will workout and go party after certain nights nights... i normally completely crash after. I know I eat A LOT better than my friends. I take it as a combo of pushing my muscles harder while at the gym and that my body is trained more to use more energy to build new muscle quicker. If that second part is true, i have no idea but Id like to think so...

    If I workout at 60%-80% intensity, I am energized for the rest of the day. If I go 80%-100% like I should, I crash big time.

    my training shchedule changes depending on the shift im on at work. If im in the am, when I get home from training and pwo shake I crash for about an hour then its about dinner time and Im gtg. If Im booked at 10 am, training is about 6-630, get home have dinner and get yelled at by my wife as I make my casein shake before bed because she wants to know how my day was and I just wanna goto bed, lol!

    Hell I wish I could take a nap. I have two kids 1 that I cannot take the time for a nap or he will get into some shit.

    I come home, take shake and oats. Then have a meal an hr later. I am then ready for bed. After having a really hard workout i sleep like a baby.
