shoulder training is on the poor side.
this is my typical shoulder workout.
3 sets of 8 on each.
behind neck press
front delt dumbell press
shrugs
i want to keep the neck press as it hits all those delts, maybe stick somthing in before my shrugs, what do you guys do for a good rear delt workout? would i be okay doing a 12 set work out on my shoulders or is that to many? thats with adding a good rear delt workout in

Behind the neck presses are great for the front and rear delt
you need to add side laterals DB
And either bent over raises for the rear delt or a michine to deplicate the movement. I find a machine works best for me.
I have had to stop doing so much work on my front delts because they are larger than my side and rear.Last edited by CHAP; 08-28-2009 at 01:49 PM.

And I do 12. What matters is that yo are not over workin yourself. And no one can tell you this. Its something you have to learn about yourself.

Yea, you should add raises for sure. And i mix up rear delts with dumbells and reverse pec deck.

3x10 Smith Shoulder Press
3x10 Behind neck smith press
3x10 DB shoulder press
3-4x10 Front DB raise
3-4x10 Side DB raise
3-4x10 Rear Delt Upright Row
Give that a shot for a few weeks, then you might have to slow it down.
