    opinions on arm day.......thanks

i used to do 8 sets for bis and tris and forearms....

ive decided to try less and see how it works...also ill be doing abs aswell...because im using this new piece of equipment....its a wheel that has two pedals...one on each side of the wheel that you put your feet into...basically when using you work your arms and abs..

    warm up sets
Chin ups 3 sets to failure
Diamond push ups 3 sets to failure

    working sets
    Concentration curls 3 sets 10,8,6
Close Grip bench press 3 sets 10,8,6
forearm dumbell curls 3 sets 10,8,6
and a grip exercise 3 sets for amount of time..

    then the wheel 3 sets....

do you think i need to add more sets/exercises or will this be good to go??

    thanks....

I`m a fan of mixing it up with cable exercises myself. To each his own but I find that the more different exercises I do for a muscle the better (not always in the same workout) just generally doing different things and mixing it up helps me alot.

I agree w/cables. Love doing em at the end of a workout doing high reps, say 15-20.
Also try some supersets and possibly giant sets on occasion. Gotta shock those bad boys sometimes.

If you do few sets with rest pause and negatives in the same set you'll be fine for that day. They add alot of intensity to your routines. Try them 2 weeks on 1 off.

If you're doing an excercise that allows you to do an amount of reps, you'll do these reps; then wait a few seconds and do other reps then rest then other reps till failure.

I would do at least 2-3 sets more for triceps than bicep! ricep is almost twice as big as your bicep and it needs to be worked a bit harder than your Bi's

I increased the volume of my arm workouts and now they have finally grown. I train the hell out of them every 5 days. 12-15 sets

I found that dropsets give a mega pump to bis.

how do you work your drop sets?.....do you add an extra set onto whatever muscle group then use that as the drop set?.....or do you use the last set of intended sets?
