The line down the centre of your chest

I was wondering if anyone knew any good excersises to train the centre of your chest so you gain a line running from your neck down the centre of your chest.
I was told that fly's work and I superset fly's with every excersise when training chest.
Is it just genetics to have great shaped (square) chest or can it be achieved.
    Thanks!

Bench press and just build your chest. The line will come with a bigger pecs

i know every time i have put fly's into my work out my chest had alot of split/ separation to them

and I do agree with noles, flat bench will build up mass nicely, but I would say add flys to give the actual look and hit the muscle where you want to.. the pecs are very large muscles so they can be hit differently. the pecs are one of the only muscles that different workouts actually will shape them differently

Flat bench and incline bench are going to give u the best results. Throw flys in there but do them alone rather than supersetting them after every exercise

I've heard that wider grip gets outer chest, closer grip is better for inner chest. This was advice from milos sarcev a pro bber
