I try and wait a maximum of 60 seconds between sets. I heard that was ideal for mass building. I may be wrong but I thought that when you wait over a minute it is more of a powerlifting routine.

It depends on your goal, but I read that your break inbetween sets must be no longer then 75 seconds. this is more for people who are cutting.

I used to workout with 2 other guys but I felt like I was waiting too long between sets and talking/listening too much. I started working out by myself awhile ago and I love it. Feel like I'm able to get a lot more "in the zone" or whatever you want to call it.

It does come down to what your bodt can handle . There are days when 30 to 60 secs is the min I wait. And some days its 1 to 3 minutes . I really try to never wait longer than a couple min because I try to keep a full pump in the muscle through the workout.

I find 60 seconds works best and double that between exercises

Depends on what my goals are. When going heavy i'll rest for 3 minutes easy. When going lighter w/higher reps it'll go down to 1 minute, 90 seconds tops.
