For the last 9 months I've been doing 2 on 1 off
    mon-legs
    tues-chest/bi
    weds-off
    thurs-back/tri
    fri-shoulders
    sat-off
    sun-off

Just started this new schedule this week.

Currently on paid layoff so not working atm.

Goals are to gain lean muscle and drop bodyfat. I want to be bigger and more cut after the cycle is over.

whats your mma class like techniquie..fitness etc? when i was doing the boxing and weights....ive also done a bit mma and kickboxing....i always felt i couldnt give my full in either....i was always holding back so i wouldnt be to fuked for the other.....

being on gear will help with recovery....but untill you have done this schedule for a few weeks you wont know how well........also will the gear not effect your fitness for the mma...?? i think doing both may hinder your goals..

i would take out chest on the monday.......and put with arms on tuesday...
so your not doing weights and mma in the same day.....the rest looks ok to me...if this is def wht you want to do...

id use a fighting weight routine instead of a BB weight routine if your serious about the mma....

The mma class is just fun cardio to me, i'm not serious into mma. The school is cool as hell though, they've had bj penn, frank shamrock and shogun all have made appearances there. It's a nice place.

I was thinking I should maybe bump my calories up the day of mma, I have a BCAA mix i'll be drinking before the mma you think that is to much cardio to still make nice gains lifting?

well if that was my gym and prob yours then thats 3.5 hours of high intensity training a week......im sure there are calculators that workout calories consumed during exercise....

now this is just my thinking/opinion............but id ask musclescience in his thread your question........

if you work out your going to burn roughly say 2000 calories in the 3.5 hour sesion......then you compensate with a clean 2000 calories that week...with BCAAs and ideal rest time then i dont see why you couldnt still make gains??? but hey i could be way out...LOL
