    Ab Mass?

What exercises are best for adding mass to the ab muscles? I know it takes diet/cardio to have defined abs. I'm not asking how to shed fat I want movements for muscle size.

Whats best? Rope crunches? Leg raises? What exercises do the pros use to have abs the size of my bi's?

I think leg raises and even weighted leg raises would be godo for this, Maybe a funny question but why do you want more ab mass? I have gotten mine really flat and tight now and like it that way.

I've been watchin too many utube videos of pros. I know its got a LOT to do with Genetics/drugs/diet but I'm curious what exercises they incorporate to have them pop out so much, and not the gh gut type pop out. I guess a better question would be what rep range should you be using for building abs?

I think to build tall ab muscles you focus on the stretch and then a big squeeze and hold at the bottom, heavy on the machines. my guess, been working for me but I hit a plateau...

I saw a noticeable difference in my ab size once I started doing oly lifts and some other compound core stuff more regularly.

    ab mass

the way the pros acheive those bulbus abs is by handling large amounts of weight. When big weight is correctly trained with in lifts like the back squat, deadlift, or any over head pressing it involves your core more than you think. Also start gradually using weight in your ab exercises.

i use the back hyper extension machine, except roll over and hook your feet in so you can do a 180degree movement...

and hold 30Kg just below my neck, do 10 reps then super set with leg raises

my whole core drills the next day, front and sides
