    losing strength while cutting?

hey all, ive been cutting up for the last 4 months im currently at 19.0% and 219 pounds from 29% (that number is pretty inflated due to the extreme water i was holding on omna/deca, the weight then was 255) im only taking a little clenbuterol 1 week on/off but my strength is plummeting even while pounding down the protein and attempting to still lift heavy, the strength loss is most noticeable on chest and shoulder days, is dramatic strength loss to be expected when cutting up?

It depends on your definition of "dramatic" but yes, a loss of some degree of strength is to be expected while cutting. Normally this is more noticable at leaner stages though, at 19% bf I would not expect a huge loss in strength.

well it is fairly dramatic but ive also experienced a shoudler injury between now and then and i just tried to bench press today for the first time in 2 months, went from doing 225 23 times at the peak of my weight to a measly 15 times today, but that could just be because im not used to doing it in a while

With significant weight loss also comes a much greater range of motion which often equates to having to use less weight.
