    increase joint strength

it may sound corny but does anyone know about any exercises that would allow you to increase the strength of the tendons and ligaments joints?

i read about a technique where you increase the weight and lift a small fraction of the range of motion to keep stress on the joints in order to make them stronger.

Yeah look up eccentric exercises for joint pain. Here is the best cocktail for tendinitis (and I have tried cissus) Glucosamine 4gr everyday, MSM 3grams Everyday, Flax oil 2 caps morning and 2 night, and either knox gelatin (I just pour it into my gal of water) or they sell gelatin caps at walmart for joint health/ collagen support this works try it be religious about it.

ok interesting. the eccentric exercises look like real sports medicine type stuff. i dont have any actual joint problems but im trying to be preventative here. plus im trying to compile enough info to create a super human factor of strong joints.

Since tendon tears are quite common in strongman, we do things like very high reps (sets of 50+) of extremely light weights (like just the bar). For instance since bicep tendon tears are very common in strongman (particularly doing tire flips, stones, and farmers walk), we'll do 2-3 sets of curls with just the bar for 50+ reps.
