    overworked muscle groups...

i just shredded my biceps today, prechers, machine curls, close grip and far grip curls, reverse curls, pulls etc etc....

if i take extra creatine tonight (maybe kre-alkalyn) and my biceps are not sore the next day should i still abstain from working them tommorow?? does bcaa's and creatine phosphate still rebuild and refill if it feels like my biceps are done bieng sore? are the fibers done re-attaching? and most important would i make a muscle group interupt hyperplasia and make it catabolic if i wasnt sore and worked the same muscle group constantly??...... same goes for all muscles...

Yes they need at least a couple days of rest to a week depending on the load you put on the muscle group. Small muscle groups can be worked harder and more often in my opinion but still need a good amount of time to recover

the big words and simple question suggests you might need to get more experience and stop reading articles on the net...

Depending on your goals the answer will differ, but I would never under any circumstance workout the same muscle two days in a row. Many people who are bulking will tell you to not workout each muscle more than once a week, which is a strategy that has given me my last 30 lbs lean mass naturally

    well said

DO NOT TRAIN THE SAME MUSCLE OR EXERCISE ON BACK TO BACK DAYS.

it simply doesn't allow the muscle to recover from the damage. you can, however, effectively train a muscle two times a week.

if you're going to do this you have to make sure you're not beating the crap out of yourself more than once a week in consideration to the specific muscle group.

for example: if you hit your biceps hard on mon, lower the sets, reps, or percentage of the weight you hit when you train on wed or later in the week to avoid over training and entering a tough catabolic phase.

i do believe that you can hit it hard two days a week if you're feeling good but just make sure that second day isn't right after the first and is at least a bit lighter than the first as well.
