    DC training update

just wanted to make an update on my DC training progress. so far it's going good. im following the program exactly as written. im doing a mwf split. im a few weeks in to the training now and have a nice printed workout log developing. the workout log is key to success. i feel without i'd be at a stand still. I now know exactly how many reps to get by forcing myself to beat the previous recorded rep number or increase the weight by as little as 2.5 to 5lbs and shoot for the same reps as the previous week. in a few more weeks i'll post my strength gains in numbers.

for example, right now i've squatted twice since i began the program. my first time i did 315 for 8 and tonight i did 320 for 8. the next time i come around to squatting i'll shoot for 325 for 8; and if i can only get it 7 times the next time i'll go for 8. over the course of a year if i keep making this very slight increases in weight and forcing my self through them i should be able to increase my squat by at least 80 pounds. people don't utilize the 2.5lbs plates enough. im hoping that in under a year i'll be squatting 400lbs for reps.

Yeah man! Nice! I have been looking in to DC and wow is it hard to find a place where it lays it all out for you! I have been trying to piece together some knowledge but it is so scattered I am having a hard time. The guys over at their forum are brutal to give out info. Where did you find it written out?

yeah i've been doing the extreme stretching. i think it's helping with my recovering. right now i haven't switched to any new exerices. as soon as i see the i'm not getting anymore strength gains i'll switch to somethin else. i came up with a nice template for my routines on microsoft excel.
