    out of porportion

got a problem with my right shoulder, it hangs considerably lower than my left shoulder. i injured my left shoulder a few years ago from i what i believe was doing pull ups behind the neck and also carrying a machinge slung accross that shoulder while over seas. also my left lat seems to be alot more tight and compact, my right one seems to start lower and infact be longer. lol it looks kind of silly trying to compensate by just walking around with my right side more flexed and it seems to balance out. but maybe i should get checked out for torn rotator cuff? or could it be that carrying the gun strengthened my lat and shoulder so that it is just stronger therefore more developed and apparent? i could probobly post a pic i suppose. i'm 6'1 290lbs and lift frequently and just try to stay in all around shape. any help is greatley appreciated.

posting a picture would help yeah.

are you competing professionally? if you're not, you shouldn't care unless it's way out of proportion. chances are noone else notices there's something wrong but you.

I knew someone who said there one shoulder was higher than the other turns out it back was messed up leaning to one side a little which made his arm look longer. Get your back checked out

    Good luck

I have somewhat the same problem. My right shoulder was higher than my left and my lats were disproportional. I thought it was because I never mixed my grips up while doing deadlift, but come to find out years later I had two bulding disks in my lower back that caused me to shift my body weight.

I ended up working to make my legs equal in strength (because the left leg was quite a bit weaker due to my constant shifting of body weight to the right side) and strengthened my lower back and core. Now the problems is almost non-existent.

So you could have injured your back, or you could be disproportionate in body strength causing a sway in your stature. or maybe a little bit of both. I would say get an MRI and see if your disk alignment is ok... if not then you can work from there to strengthen your core to fix the problem. If you get the MRI back and it says you are good to go with your disks... then you can work on equaling out your overall body strength to fix your posture.
